friends, if you go out and start counting the OS available in the market, you
will surely run out of numbers. Their are some paid ones like MS-Windows,
Apple-OS X, while others free like Linux and UNIX and
lastly-the latest member of free and open source OS- Chrome OS.
It
is developed by Google itself and works on cloud.
Some cool features of this OS are:

your stuff is saved on the web.
Chrome
devices start up fast and last all day long.
Each
time you turn your Chrome device on, it automatically updates itself with the
latest features.
You
can safely share your device, not your information.
People
can sign in with their own Google Accounts on your device to access their own
Chrome apps, bookmarks, and settings. Or they can browse the web as a guest,
without signing in. Either way, your personal files are never accessible
outside your account.
You
are protected by built-in security.
Sadly,
Chrome OS is not available as open source but comes installed in Chromebox and
Chromebook.
